Cast Polyamide
Cast polyamide is a type of PA Polyamide produced by casting. Although it has similar properties to polyamide, it has high tensile, compression and impact strength because it is produced by casting. It gives better results than polyamide 6 in terms of dimensional stability. .It has high heat resistance and low coefficient of friction. However, due to their water absorption feature, they are not preferred in humid environments. It reaches very high wear resistance even when working by rubbing with metals.
Cast polyamide is an engineering plastic preferred in many industrial areas due to its chemical, electrical and physical properties as well as its superior mechanical strength. It is used in environments where many metals such as steel, copper, iron, aluminum, bronze and brass are used, providing superior advantages instead of these metals. It is cheaper, lighter, more durable and longer lasting than these metals. The standard color of cast polyamide is yellow. If desired, it can be produced in different colors and natural colors.
